The UpriseVSI 2018 Review
We’ve reached the point in the year when we can afford to sit back and reflect on the months that have passed. Although, with so many website design projects on the go, we don’t really have that much time to kick back and relax.
That said, we thought we’d take this opportunity to look back at some of the highlights that 2018 brought our way.
So here’s a quick trip down memory lane, via the medium of the blog.
Trends, trends, trends
We kicked off 2018 as we normally do, with a look at the design trends that we expected to see gracing the web. From animation and typography to a focus on mobile, our crystal ball seemed to be working fine.

Across the year, we also focused on some more specific areas when it came to trends.
To coincide with CES 218 in Las Vegas, we explored the latest tech trends, including wireless charging, convertible devices, artificial intelligence, voice activation and the Internet of Things.

We also looked at the digital trends emerging in the fashion retail sector, where data collection, user experience, and system integration were all vital means of attracting and retaining customers.

After Econsultancy and Adobe published their Digital Intelligence Briefing, we thought we’d share our own thoughts on the digital trends that they were predicting.
Covering customer-centric marketing, the customer journey and integrated technology, they provided some great insights into what businesses can expect if they want to complete their digital transformation in 2018 and beyond.

With customer and user experience emerging as important elements of digital marketing, you won’t be surprised to learn that they proved to be rich sources of information for our blogs.
