UpriseVSI go global
We’re pleased to have been appointed by the Pharmaceutical Users Software Exchange (PhUSE) to design and develop their new website. A global organisation with over 6,000 members, PhUSE hosts an annual conference and events all around the world, working with world-leading companies and organisation within the pharmaceutical industry.
The new website will include a new conference booking and membership system using UpriseVSI’s own thinkBooker software. The project was won following a tender process involving several well established off-the-shelf booking solutions. However, it was the flexibility of the thinkBooker solution and our ability to tailor it to suit PhUSE’s particular needs that helped us to win the business.
The new responsive website will not only make the site more accessible to a wider audience, but also facilitate more services for members. This complete solution will enable PhUSE to run their business online and communicate effectively with their members.
This is an exciting step forward for the organisation, providing its global client base with a responsive website that’s as user-friendly when viewed on a mobile or tablet device as it is on a desktop PC. The responsive solution will allow members to renew their membership wherever they are in minutes using a mobile phone or tablet, something that was only possible on desktop until now.
The membership and conference bookings systems will also make use of UpriseVSI’s multi-currency payment solution, which can display, transact and account monies in different currencies.
Members who wish to present research or projects at the conference can also submit material in advance using the website. Conference moderators then select the best contributions and manage the development of the material for presentation. The process helps to ensure the very highest standards of content presented at the conference and maintain PhUSE’s position as a global leader in their field.
